岡惚れと片思いはどう違うんですか。

「岡惚れ」の「岡」と言うのは、江戸時代に『幕府が公認していない』ということを指していて、公認している唯一の遊郭新吉原に対して それ以外の遊所のことを「岡場所」と呼んでいました。簡単に言えば幕府の目から隠れて商売してる自営業の娼婦といった感じです。 新吉原で遊ぶには面倒なしきたりがあり、ある程度お金持ちじゃないと遊べず、 新規のお客が吉原で遊ぶにはコネも必要だったのです。 それで、吉原に行けない男性は岡場所の女性を買って遊んでいました。 この岡場所の女性に本気で恋をしちゃうことを岡惚れと言っていました。ですから「片思い」と同じ意味ですが「片思い」よりも背徳感があります。「道ならぬ片思い」といったところでしょうか。
